WAYS TO PREPARE FOR YOUR 1HOUR SESSION:
We’ll need to know at the start of your consultation if you want to use your 1-Hour Session for: A) ideas-only/actionable steps that you will run with, or B) as an intake meeting because you are hiring LJID to do a whole room design for the space, in which case we’ll interview you in-depth about the room, instruct you how to photograph the existing space and take the measurements we need (or you may share your plans with us digitally).
Pull 5 - 10 inspiration photos from Pinterest that represent your design style and we’ll review them at your meeting; what you like and dislike in each example.
Although you can ask questions about as many spaces as you’d like, we recommend focusing on a single room, so have a good idea about which area of your home is most pressing.
List out specific questions for that space, in order from most important to least. We’ll tackle your list in that order.
If you have any finish samples (flooring, cabinetry, counter tops, fabrics), make sure you have those nearby to share with us during our session.
Analyzing spaces, developing problem-solving solutions, and creative ideas all take what they take timewise, so there are no guarantees how much can be accomplished, but we will do our best to work through as many of your questions as possible during our time together.
NOTES:
**All design work happens during our time together. If you need additional support following our session, you may book an additional virtual session or explore our additional design service options.
**We encourage you to take notes so you can refer back to those if needed.
**If you need to reschedule your appointment for any reason, we require 72 hours’ notice.
**NO REFUND, TRANSFER, OR CANCELLATION POLICY: All sales for consultation services are final, and Lisa Jensen/Lisa Jensen Interior Design does not offer any refunds or money-back guarantees. You recognize and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances. You are paying for the time and intellectual property of expert Lisa Jensen, not a team member, so should a team member fail to show, there is no discount. Other potential clients are turned away for the time we reserve for your service, so the time slot you cancel is lost income. Client must provide 72 hours' notice for cancelling a meeting in a written email to Lisa@LJID.com or the client forfeits payment. Client is responsible to re-schedule and have their meeting within 12 months, otherwise the client forfeits their payment. Client agrees and understands that LJ/LJID is not an architectural designer and will not provide such advice on architecture, nor on feasibility, electrical, plumbing, contracting, or budgeting. LJ/LJID is not responsible for the aesthetic, functional, safety, or subjective outcome of the finished space. The client is responsible for researching product selections made by LJ/LJID; the client accepts full responsibility for final purchases they choose to make and understands they are entering a contract with the merchandise retailer, not with Lisa Jensen/Lisa Jensen Interior Design.
