Meet Lisa Jensen
OWNER + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Lisa Jensen is an interior decorator based on Boston Massachusetts’ North Shore where she grew up. Her artistic passion started at a young age when she’d frequently rearrange furniture and decorations in her childhood home.
After earning a Certificate of Interior Design, Lisa started her award-winning home decor boutique she called Elixir (a cure for people’s homes) in Salem MA in 2002, which evolved into Lisa Jensen Interior Design. Her interior design studio quickly established itself as the go-to decorator in Essex County MA for homeowners wanting to transform their current homes, new homes, or redesign a single room in their existing home.
Today, after two decades in business and having designed over 1,000 projects primarily in towns North of Boston MA spanning between Lynnfield and Newburyport, Lisa brings 21 years of real-world experience into her client’s homes and now designs rooms for clients anywhere in the USA.
Her mission is to improve people’s lives by creating rooms, or homes, that they love being in, spaces that make them feel good and bring them joy whether their preference is for a quiet, serene, modern bedroom design, or a bold, brightly colored, vibrant, fun and eclectic living room design the whole family can hang out together in.
Over the years Lisa has earned a loyal repeat and word-of-mouth customer base. Clients know Lisa listens closely, cares about them, and works hard to deliver a one-of-a-kind, thoughtful, highly individualized room design they will love. She utilizes her considerable experience, close listening skills, and trained eye, to maximize the potential of her client’s homes with her non-judgemental, down-to-Earth approach. A beautiful neutral modern transitional Foyer/Living Room Design by Essex County MA decorator Lisa Jensen Interior Design in a home located in North Reading MA 01864. From a dark, empty room to a bright white oasis filled with a mix of furniture from a contemporary white console table, to a farmhouse rustic cottage tall cabinet, and even a touch of British West Indies on the rattan accent stools that sit beneath the console desk. Beautiful unique modern lamps made from acrylic, carved wood and stone with soft white ivory drum lamp shades anchored with a sleek charcoal gray black rectangular vase. A cotton striped roman shade adds warmth to the space. The tall cabinet topped with a gold sunburst mirror is repeated (not shown in this photo) on the opposite side of the room to create symmetry and balance.
